The charity Crimestoppers is backing Safer Guernsey’s latest campaign which aims to raise the awareness of domestic violence and abuse (DVA) that exists in Guernsey as well as money to support local victims. Many are suffering in silence behind closed doors.
To raise awareness, RBSI have produced a 3 metre wide banner and it would be fantastic if the Guernsey fencing team could add its support by arranging for a team photograph holding this message with the aim of it being distributed via facebook, twitter etc. At 1945 Monday the banner is being delivered to the college gym for a photo with as many fencers as possible. Please come and support this campaign. Freshly washed commonwealth kit would be welcomed, but we would like to see as many fencers there as possible, of whatever age or ability.
