Founded in 1969, Sarnia Sword Club has been promoting fencing in Guernsey for over 50 years. We are a club for anyone from the age of 14 upwards, and we cater for a range of abilities from beginners to more experienced fencers. We meet twice a week and offer group coaching and free fencing, as well as one-to-one coaching from our qualified coaching team. All equipment is provided.
We run foil, epee and sabre leagues throught the year, as well as other friendly competitions and several island competitions.
For beginners we offer regular beginners courses, and as fencers progress and learn new skills they have the opportunity to earn their grades from the British Fencing Association. Please see the how to join section below for information on our beginners courses.
Mondays 20:00 - 22:00 at Vale Douzaine Room.
Thursdays 19:30 - 21:30 at Beau Sejour.
